Sunward mentions the TITAN forests, which are completely artificial "forests" that are hostile to transhumanity. Richard Hardy, an architecture grad from London, did a short film called "The Transcendent City" that gives one idea of what a TITAN forest that was not completely artificial could look like. It looks very peaceful in this interpretation, but what if this kind of TITAN forest maintained a perfect equilibrium with its environment but saw transhumanity as a disruptive force to its environment and worked to eliminate it?
