Just a random idea I had. Looking at Netflix itself, it's about the cost of buying 1 DVD per month (give or take) but there's the obvious limitations. With that said, it seems like the cost of owning a skillsoft would probably be similar to the cost of a subscription service. So that's my estimate.
It's also an open question how long it takes to download and apply skillsofts, but since the books don't mention anything prohibitives I would guess that it doesn't take long to do either. Probably not something you could do in combat, but pretty trivial otherwise.
