Now, the material strength doesn't seem to be that amazing, but I can imagine properly nanofactured aerogel to be far firmer. So you would have something transparent, very thermally insulating, with a density of 40 kg per cubic meter and likely very resilient. Plus, potentially extremely abrasive.
