Wouldn't a Comfurt narcoalgorithm be quicker to take effect?
The Comfurt drug normally takes 20 minutes to take effect - but that is because it only has an application by mouth (Application "O") on the chart. I suppose one could even "hot patch" a running cyberbrain and make it nearly instantaneous, but that sounds somewhat risky (bypassing the brain emulation layer). Wouldn't a narcoalgorithm take place quite a bit more quickly? More like the inhalable ones (Alpha, Grin or Kick) and perhaps take 1 minute or 3 Action Turns to take effect as there's no digestion step necessary.

Yeah, from what I can tell,
Yeah, from what I can tell, there are narcoalgorithm versions of comfurt, but that's for infomorphs and AGIs, or people running in a cyberbrain. Otherwise, it's the chem version listed in the book.

Looks like the two sample
Looks like the two sample narcoalgorithms - DDR and Linkstate - don't even have a onset time/duration listed. The implication from those two examples is that narcoalgorithms have a zero onset time and are of arbitrary duration.

Errata clarified that: Narcoalgorithims last 3 hours in their standard form, with I imagine there being versions with longer or shorter durations.
