World of Eclipse: EP-NWOD System Hack
So, my gaming group and I, after an extended discussion regarding our collective issues with and dislikes of the EP game mechanic system--while at the same time expressing a deep enjoyment of the setting, but the rules kept getting in the way of our enjoyment--decided to engage in a conversion project, hacking the New World Of Darkness system mechanic to EP. It's been an interesting ride so far, and we're going to start giving it a test run with this weekend's session. We aren't touching the fluff at all, but we're just adapting the rules to fit with the feel of the EP setting (which has led to some very fun discussions in meta-rules and other such points). Also, as the GM, I've taken the opportunity to fix some issues that I've identified within the system--odd, and occasionally perverse, incentives that the rules create (such as never, ever, ever burning Rep, and just accumulating it until you have 100 Rep in every Network). But, in the spirit of EP's Creative Commons license (and the admitted hopes of ending up on the Resources page ^_^), we're putting up our conversion for everyone to use, and it can be found here. Comments and suggestions welcome; we're still in the process of editing masses of notes and works-in-progress into readable and usable documents and then copying them to the site, as well as copying the relevant segments of the descriptions and such from the rulebooks (has it been mentioned how much we love Creative Commons? No? We love Creative Commons. :D ).

Oh man, this is really great!
Oh man, this is really great! Awesome detail indeed. How you are guys going to handle the Exsurgent virus? I'm currently trying to hack EP into Stars Without Number, though I'm less experience with EP. I'll be following your progress!

Update on how this is working
Update on how this is working out in play: For skill checks, pretty good. So far at least, I prefer it to core EP. Of course, so far all that we have actually done mechanically has been skill checks, and as a skills-oriented system, nWoD handles those well. We haven't been sufficiently exposed to terror for me to get a good read on how well our sanity system works. Similarly we haven't had any serious combat. (There was one shootout with some wildlife, but it wouldn't have been a genuine threat even if we didn't have medichines and healing vats). I'm a bit skeptical about the rep system we're using. It's based on a system used to partially de-abstract WoD's wealth merit. IMO this makes rep too much like currency, which it is not. OTOH, there are the issues Bibliphile mentioned with the old system. (Max out all of your rep networks for minimal res, get lots of free stuff.) Our system does not fix all of the old issues. In EP core you could burn 20 rep for another Expensive favor. If you decide to pay this with rez, that's only spending two rez for an Expensive item like a plasma rifle, which is low compared to the 20 that it's supposed to cost from credits. (Which is a no-brainer for someone who can expect their equipment to stick around for a while.) As we have done it, you have to burn a number of rep points equal to the cost level of an item whenever you acquire it. This of course means that it is better to spend rep on your expensive items and credits on less expensive items. (With credits, a plasma rifle is the same cost as 80 enhanced visions. With rep, a plasma rifle is the same cost as 5. So long as you have ready access to a mixed economy, the best option seems to be to acquire expensive items with rep, then sell them and buy less expensive items with credits.) This is all speculation, however. We've been out in the gate network since implementation, so there's been no opportunity to do a live-fire test, as it were.
You, too, were made by humans. The methods used were just cruder, imprecise. I guess that explains a lot.
