Thank You Posthuman Studios
PostHuman Studios, I read about 6 pages of the quick start rules and was taken aback by the promise of such a complex sci-fi setting. Needless to say, I ordered the Core Rules that day. I would like to express a thank you for putting out such a great game. Setting, game mechanics, and the respect to the fan base by way of the Creative Commons License makes this a product worthy of endorsement. I have not enjoyed completely a game since Call of Cthulhu, and Eclipse Phase has rekindled my love for roleplaying. Once again and thanks from a new fan!

Re: New Fan of Eclipse Phase
I have been reading EP for a while and have a game started as of last fall, but I would like to echo the OP comments, this game made role playing games something 'New' for me again, and there have not been that many games that have done that for me in a while. Cheers.

+over 9000 I've been spending my discretionary fund on supplying gamers I know with an EP Core book. I've hooked five people up thus far and the bruising my bank account has suffered pales in comparison to the fun I've had the last 4.5 months!

Re: Thank You Posthuman Studios
Strangely, I had been reading John Scalzi's "Old Man's War" series and I was buzzed on the idea of consciousness transfer. I don't know how, perhaps related to Catalyst Labs and Shadowrun 4th Edition somehow, and reading Eclipse Phase's keywords and themes... I was set deep into orbital decay, destined to spiral into the Singularity. It made gaming and science-fiction somewhere fun to explore again. It was daring, provocative, and unflinching. Game and setting integrated well. It oozed with tantalization and beckoned the ritually-careful beyond their safety zones, into darkly mesmerizing places. And don't think I didn't notice the parallelism between consciousness transfer in game and the "virtual" consciousness transfer we may label the whole roleplaying (or even as far as fiction itself) experience.

+1 This is hands down the coolest RPGs I have ever had the pleasure of discovering.

I feel the need to express my gratitude, and maybe on several other's behalf, but I adore how the hardcovers and such all come with installed bookmarks. The rest of the universe should do it as a matter of course, but I like how we are shown how much they care about their readers and admirers. :)

This, so much. I donated my 1st edition copy of EP to my local rpg club and got the 3rd the second I saw that it had those. I mean one bookmark is already great, but two? That's quality worth supporting.
