So who is coming to Origins?
I know its been a while since I posted, but waiting for new books has had an impact on my interest. But now with the imminent release of Sunward, I thought I'd stop back in. Now back on topic. Being a Columbusite, Origins is my local convention, and I'm going to be there Thursday through Sunday. And while I'd like to get a game in, or help out, I've got my own events to run. I'm running demos for Infinity, a science fiction miniatures game ( www.infinitythegame.com ), but I will be stopping by the booth, between sessions to pester you.

I will be playing in EP1 on one of the days. Doing to boardgame room for the rest of the con except a little bit of Car Wars when I can get it.

I haven't been to Origins since 2003. Finances and sheer distance are major contributors to my not going, but the biggest is that I was BORED at the 2003 event.

I would really love to go to a con with more than 150 - 200 people attending at some point. But I just don't see how I'm going to afford it.

I had a great time at the con but was bummed I couldn't get a game of Eclipse Phase in. The one game I was scheduled in the GM didn't show up. Hopefully everything is okay with him, they were worried when they couldn't contact him. I guess I will show up with generics at Gencon and hope there is an open seat.
