The sensational multiuse smart manipulators

Let's have a thread about all of the uses of smart manipulators and how you rule them in your games. What's your favorite thing to do using them? Do you rule the SOM as cumulative? Have you ever wielded ten guns at once with them? Pretty much an overall smart manipulators appreciation thread.

I was looking for just the thing. I'm sure it should give bonuses to climbing. So get many spindle-climbers, smart anchors and smart manipulators and you can be a very tangly spiderman. Bonus point for being Samsa, Octomorph or something creepy

Now that you pointed it out too me I will surely use the smart manipulators to weave complex traps with monomolecular garrote wires. Check for TITAN traps. Insert greyboxes where even scurriers and creepies can hardly fit. Extend a smart rope with dazzler at the end to blind cameras. Wrap the tentacles around the enemies. Stab somebody with poison covered utilitools. Possibilities are endless.

They're also super useful in microgravity since you can have upwards of eight arms/tethers if you're really coordinated. And, do you really need someone to explain the fear factor of eight sets of cyberclaws on tentacles? Yes, whether you're going for Slenderman or Doc Ock I can't say enough nice things about smart manipulators and I just thought they deserve a thread all to themselves. Edit: That's not even touching on their uses for gliding, flying, restraining, carrying and of course, fashion.
