Seedware, a new idea yearblog
Inspired by Farcast, I will be running my own year long blog of ideas for Eclipse Phase, and I have just made the first post. I hope I can give people ideas to use in their own games! Edit: Doh, Forgot the link! www.seedwareblog.com

Had a look. Whistling Spiders creep me out, but that's largely because anything which resembles anything which creeps and/or crawls creeps me out. The Third Hemisphere thing... Hrm. It sounds a bit like what a Math Boost aug does, but the incorporation of machine logic into a biomorph brain... I would say that it should give a number of small bonuses: The same bonus as having a Math Boost (not cumulative with the Math Boost,) a function like Common Sense but only in cold machine logic terms (game theory suggests that you'll be better off in this situation by betraying your allies to gain advantage,) and a resistance to Basilisk Hacks, which couldn't possibly have been made to account for a transhuman with such an altered brainstate. The downside is that if you have one, you gain the Anomalous Mind trait, making any resleeving a challenge, until you've been in a regular brain for at least as long as you were in the Third Hemisphere brain.

Dayumn, how'd I miss that? Thanks. You might want to add that link to your signature, AH.

Seedware
Halfway point! Starting today I'll be going back and doing whatever editing is needed on two posts a day, as well as adding some new things like plot hooks, so you may notice changes.

Finished
Fell off towards the end of the year, but still got a lot done. I posted my notes for anyone who might want to use them.

I really loved Seedware.
What would it take to help fill out Seedware's last two months of articles? I have a few things I'd like to contribute, like Suitware*, and possibly a reconsideration of your "Lycanthropy" article with NPCs, organizations, and variant strains (I bet some scum, somewhere, probably enjoy that kind of slow and painful transformation as a form of performance art!) developed as it was passed around from enthusiast to enthusiast, possibly with a catalogue being maintained on Fortean by someone amused by what Terrans do to themselves in the name of amusement. *Suitware deserves its own blog entry, there or here; it's a form of psychosurgery and/or middleware that makes synths appear semi-transparent, to those running compatible suitware on their mesh inserts, usually displaying an augmented-reality projection of the ego's face within the "helmet" they're "wearing"; the users tend toward bulkier synths, in order to leave plausible room for a human body inside the "suit"; this leads to more room for bulky augmentations and a sudden popularity amongst certain crowds known to Firewall as a cover story. Alas, I don't think I have a whole year of good ideas in me, or I'd consider starting a yearblog, myself. Maybe I'll get my D&D group to collaborate?
