Scifi reading apropriate to the setting?

2312 by Kim Stanley Robinson
2312 by Kim Stanley Robinson does a good job with colonization of the solar system, habitats and AI. A number of its characters could be described as transhumans but not generally as far out there as the ones in Eclipse Phase. The story is a bit weak but I enjoyed it for intelligent and imaginative exploration of its setting.
