It seems that for the first time in history, scientists have been able to to determine the color of a planet orbiting a star. http://phys.org/news/2013-07-true-colour-exoplanet.html Apparently this blue world has only one thing in common with our own world. It is blue. From the data gathered, the scientists believe that this planet is very hot, winds blow incredibly strong, and it rains glass... sideways. I don't think it would be a nice place for a pandora gate exit point when a team of gate crashers go exploring a new world, or dialing a random gate to get away from something nasty.
