Saw "The Martian" recently.
And looking at those absolutely gorgeous Mars landscapes made me think of something I really like about Eclipse Phase. I'm so used to thinking of "Alien worlds" as looking like Vancouver forests or California Deserts, but Mars, Titan, Europa are all much much closer but waaaaay more alien and I really like that in Eclipse Phase players get to explore these completely bonkers planets that we are all so familiar with.

I hate to say it, but I had a
I hate to say it, but I had a few moments in that film, where my first reaction was, Woah, that's so eclipse phase!" Especially when Watney is living like a Martian nomad toward the end.
