I was reading up on Salamanders in the new "Sunward" rulebook, from what I understand, playing as a Salamander would be quite difficult, due to their "Coronal Adaptation" trait, rendering them essentially unusable in campaigns outside the area around the sun.* Now, I understand this is the price you pay for playing a Salamander, and i'm not suggesting removing that disadvantage, but I was wondering how much you could counter it with biomods, and what the general opinion is on the absolute maximum time a Salamander could survive outside its natural habitat.
*For those of you not informed, the Coronal Adaptation biomod states that due to restructuring of the essential organs and metabolism of the moph to survive in the sun, morphs with the Coronal Adaptation trait cannot survive for more then a few days outside the Corona without "Extensive Meical Assistance"

Re: Playing a Salamander (Coronal Adaptation)
I think the basic idea is that if you want to move to some other place, you leave your salamander morph behind - ideally trading it for a new morph in the habitat you are moving to (through egocasting). This is much more practical than lugging a morph over hundreds of millions of kilometers.
For a modern day analogy, think of what happens to your car when you move from one continent to another. Do you carry it along, or do you just sell it and buy another one in the new place? Most of the times, you take the second option. Of course, a *really*special* car might be worth transfering - but it takes time and money. Same thing with EP morphs.

Re: Playing a Salamander (Coronal Adaptation)
Well, i'm presuming the character *really* doesn't want to resleeve, its more a hypothetical situation. I'm just wondering what the workarounds and counters to Corona Adaptation would be, if any.
