What have you done you foul beasts, give her back! Seriously, why is the Plasma Cutter not in the beam list? Oversight?

Because it's Melee?
Shouldn't the plasma cutter be in the melee weapon or the tools list?

Tools, maybe? But it's not
Tools, maybe? But it's not listed anywhere, and it was classified as a beam weapon in the first edition. Also, it's definitely not Melee with a 15 meter range.. Gatecrashing: p. 158-159

In the May 29 release of the
In the May 29 release of the Gear section, the plasma torch and laser cutter are included in the Disassembly Tools. They are not given a damage block.

Well, you're not alone. My preferred morph isn't in the 2nd edition book by default, but I'm just making do with porting it over to the new system. Could do the same with the plasma cutter (Trying to keep what it's between in terms of things like damage, cost, etc.)
