This is also used as a form of arbitration between players. If someone playing makes a move with their character, Big Baddy, physics, AI, etc, that is total craptastic bullshit, it should be called here. The character who was called then has an opportunity to defend their claim or accept that their understanding of the rules/physics/sociology/rhetoric is flawed and they should consider editing the statement. This should have a few effects on play, most of which are positive. The first positive effect is crowdsourcing references. If some character claims that they can "so hack that shit" and they are wrong in a way that makes the reader with a computer security background scream in their head, that reader should rip them a new one in a funny way. Said whistleblower should prepare to have their own ass torn a new one if they are wrong of course. Anarchic decision making is unflinching about your sad little feelings. One of the negative effects is that none of us really like getting insulted, most especially when we are wrong. If some dickhead comes in and chews you out in a rude manner, and then cries "wahhh! y u so butthurt?" when you point it out, they in turn should be piteously ridiculed. Anarchic boundary setting is unflinching about your sad little power games. The biggest positive benefit is that the collective writing output can end up being much harder, and much more interesting, than it would have if we all played nice. It can also be much easier to explore a new sci-fi idea if you know that you will have people jumping down your throat for really egregious errors, and people covering your back from trolls over small errors.
