Online Guides To Alternative Ideologies?
It occurs to me that it might be helpful to learn something about the less well known ideologies that inspired several of the factions. For example, I am much more familiar with philosophy than alternative economic theories. There is wikipedia but I'd prefer to look at less malleable sources. Would anyone care to recommend worthwhile online guides to EP source ideologies?

I think these two videos give a very good description of the deontological foundation of anarchism and anarcho-capitalism: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PGMQZEIXBMs https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fasTSY-dB-s

Okay, well...
... to be honest the Wikipedia entry on Anarchism IS a pretty good starting point. As with all things wikipedia it should not be considered the final authority, but it will get you knowledgeable enough to run an anarchist campaign effectively. If you're looking for good primers I can't really speak to extropians, but Anarchism and it's Aspirations by Cindy Milstein is typically considered a good starting place for the modern reader. I say, though I have not personally read it. If you are using a Debian based operating system on your computer you can simply apt-get install anarchism and have the Anarchist faq installed to your /usr/share/doc directory. The FAQ can also be found here: http://anarchism.pageabode.com/afaq/index.html I have read the FAQ. It is very good, very up to date, and very long. The canonical stuff (Bakunin, Goldman, Proudhon etc...) can be fairly intense reads and are pretty out of date as far as current Anarchist thought. But they're required reading if you're looking for a deep understanding of the philosophy. Most - if not all - of this should be available online in some form or another.
