I can imagine a transhuman being absolutely reviled at the thought of having their mesh feed projected onto a physical object. If you were accustomed to your screens and menus being personal hallucinations that only you can perceive and interact with, interfaces like touch-screens would feel about as advanced as smoke signals.
It certainly does give an interesting look at what might be in our immediate future, however. I personally can't wait until portable technologies converge with computation in such a way that all of our computing needs are portable, and the desk computer is a thing of the past.
However, I will say that this still somewhat gives us a glimpse into what the world of Eclipse Phase looks like... through the eyes of someone with AR entoptics. Think about it. Your AR system displays all your feeds and data on walls, floor and ceilings, so that it doesn't completely distract from your view of the world. Rather than popping up in the middle of your view, incoming broadcasts might pop up on an object in your peripherals, just far enough to the side to not be obstructive but close enough to the center of your focus that you know its there. While the touching elements of the computer tech in the video might not be present, many of the video-showing appliances might transmit such data to your entoptics while merely requiring mental commands to function.
On the converse, imagine what the world of Eclipse Phase probably looks like to someone without AR entoptics. Drab grays and whites covering the whole of the cityscape, with most people wearing bland clothing. Homes have plain walls, floors and ceilings, and most furniture is very basic-looking... designed for function over form.
However, while three people dressed in plain garb cheer around a bland round table sitting on various boring-looking chairs, in augmented reality they sit on precious leather furnishings draped in the finest silks while the walls sport a dynamic cosmic aquarium background of Earthly sea animals floating unharmed in the backdrop of starlit space; from the table erupts a 3-dimensional projection of ancient Roman gladiators engaged in armed combat, each character being controlled by the thoughts of the players around them. The possibilities are near-limitless.

Transhumans will one day be the Luddites of the posthuman age.
