So, after rereading the description of the neurachem bioware mod, I see that it has to be manually activated (I'd assumed it was always on, being a bioware implant and all). Since the user has that sort of control over their system, is it possible for someone implanted with lv. 2 neurachem to use it at lv. 1, only gaining +1 speed but not crashing afterward?
I'd be inclined to say yes, picturing lv. 2 as some sort of emergency overdrive mode, but there's nothing in the rules to support it.
While I'm at it, how long does the boost last?
