Holy balls, my players spent ten hours roleplaying at one another!
I'm not even joking. I had no plan for today's session, since I spent the majority of the week procrastinating, and the entirety of last night Kerballing, but my players had just changed settings, evacuating from Mars to the GYAtM swarm, and new players were also joining. I set things up so an NPC my players already knew and liked (FUCKHEAD, militant anti-corporate anarchist,) was trying to have a one-man lynching of an NPC that one of the new players knew, who recently decided to abandon hypercorporate life after having his life be one gigantic water slide from high to low. FUCKHEAD wanted a player to join the lynching. The ex-corper, Jon Carter (no relation to Jake Carter,) wanted his other friend to prevent his lynching. The second new player was summoned by the automatic door alarm for maintenance, because Jon was holed up in an atmospherics support room. They roleplayed at each other for ten and a half hours straight. After the hostilities were defused, they went to an eatery to get lunch, drink, and become best friends. I am amazed. Has anyone else had their players do something like that?

I have gotten into a few
I have gotten into a few synergies myself but they only ever lasted for a couple hours. the most memorable one being in a Men in Black one off where me and a friend became perfect cut outs of experienced partnered agents from the movies when in dialouge. unfortunately such synergies are few and far between

Yep. Shadowrun - it concluded
Yep. Shadowrun - it concluded with the players hanging up on the Johnson - twice. "Gimmie your phone" "NO! You threw yours out the window - I don't have a replacement plan!" It. Is. Spectacular. When the group pulls together like that. Good job. ;)

Small Story
Once went into hard vac unprotected to save my muse. Tiny bit of context first, this muse was controlled by another player and an AGI due to a long story regarding a stolen synthshell from the TQZ that was now their current morph, and need to recompile them as one to fix a problem it caused. ANYWAYS! Group and us are escorting really sensitive prototype morphs on a ship that's getting some "Aggressive" offers to take them off our hands, the ships's systems are being hacked by something with a hard connection to it and the infomorph pilots are getting DDoS'd to hell and back. Seeing as none of us got vacuum protection to go check the hull...I send my muse out to do that and she rolls a critical failure on her perception. Eyes turn to static as she lowered her mesh connection blackout just for a second and got spammed. She's under a SERIOUS risk to lose grip on the transport and be lost floating in the ass-end of nowhere, so I do the only reasonable thing: drop my gun, run to the airlock she went out of, put in my internal air and start cycling the airlock as she's tempting self deletion to give me no reason to do this crazy plan, eventually deciding against it. So here comes this BIG alligator-like fury digging it's claws into the hull after her to where she's hanging on for dear life and grabs an arm pulling her closer and saying... "Spots, I need you to grab on and not let go, if you let go; I'll let go, and you are more important than any lost time or morph. You think I'm insane for coming for you, I think you're insane to ever think I would abandon the one person who told me it would always be okay, no matter how scary, dark or alone it got..." She just paused a moment to nod before latching onto his back and telling him: "It'll be okay, boss." Before with a mix of her Gas jets and my strong grip, climbed back into the airlock. alive and (luckily) unharmed.

Isn't it roleplaying with one another?
I'm really happy for your ShadowDragon. Those kind of groups are always the most enjoyable to me. While not exactly ten hours, I've often had sessions where the player characters just talk to each other or perhaps one or two NPCs they want to meet for some 4-5 hours. Minimal input from me and they've seemed satisfied. Back when I played Ars Magica, there was this other player whom also enjoyed "just roleplaying" and so whenever events transpired that didn't involve our characters we would have them talk to each other and otherwise create mischief (playing around with various types of magic). So usually we would manage ourselves just fine, just assuming the GM would be fine with whatever weird stuff we pulled but sometimes we interruopted him playing with another character by saying "So... we just botched a Fire magic roll here...".
