So, my [url=https://sites.google.com/site/talariusgroup/]gaming group[/url] and I, after an extended discussion regarding our collective issues with and dislikes of the EP game mechanic system--while at the same time expressing a deep enjoyment of the setting, but the rules kept getting in the way of our enjoyment--decided to engage in a conversion project, hacking the New World Of Darkness system mechanic to EP.
It's been an interesting ride so far, and we're going to start giving it a test run with this weekend's session. We aren't touching the fluff at all, but we're just adapting the rules to fit with the feel of the EP setting (which has led to some very fun discussions in meta-rules and other such points). Also, as the GM, I've taken the opportunity to fix some issues that I've identified within the system--odd, and occasionally perverse, incentives that the rules create (such as never, ever, ever burning Rep, and just accumulating it until you have 100 Rep in every Network).
But, in the spirit of EP's Creative Commons license (and the admitted hopes of ending up on the Resources page ^_^), we're putting up our conversion for everyone to use, and it can be found [url=https://sites.google.com/site/worldoflysis/]here[/url].
Comments and suggestions welcome; we're still in the process of editing masses of notes and works-in-progress into readable and usable documents and then copying them to the site, as well as copying the relevant segments of the descriptions and such from the rulebooks (has it been mentioned how much we love Creative Commons? No? We love Creative Commons. :D ).
