Newbie GM question on exsurgent infection for AGIs

Hey all, quick question as I'm preparing to GM EP for the first time. I was planning on running the Think Before Asking oneshot to introduce the players to Eclipse Phase, and I noticed that one of the suggested ways to kill the Oracle AI was to introduce it to the exsurgent virus. One of the PCs is infected with Watts-McCleod, if they ask a very dumb question of the Oracle that would result in an attempt at a mind hacking or other shenanigans, would this cause the exsurgent virus to infect the Oracle?

I would like to think so, the Oracle AI is an ASI/Seed AI (I am trying to figure out the difference between those), and the exsurgent virus is supposed to infect and do *something* to Seed AI/ASI, so theoretically, if the Oracle AI uploaded the asyncs mind, it might infect it. I think.

Oh I agree, but there is always the possibility that they would ask the wrong kind of question if they don't understand just how freaking dangerous an Oracle AI is, and I wanted to be ready if that was the case, as the "wrong" question would definetly activate Godzilla mode here ;) Really if they mess up I want to be able to have the option to say "you messed up but it hacked you to scan your memories to clarify the question, the WML is screwing with it so there's still a chance to contain it", rather than having it immediately attack Titan for resources for self improvement or something. As i understand it the WM strain can not target digital vectors and those infected with it are no longer transmittable in the infection
