Newbie GM

Hey guys, I'm been given the opportunity to GM a game for my friends, so as to introduce them to EP. However this will be my first time GMing (as i've only been a player). My question is: How much of eclipse phase's "secrets" should i know? I'd really prefer not to spoil anything that will affect me as a player.

You could potentially GM Eclipse Phase knowing none of the secrets. In fact, nothing in the GM section actually says for sure why the TITANs attacked transhumanity, what has happened to them since, who built the gates, etc. The GM section does discusses possibilities, but doesn't say what is going on. The GM section does cover some of the setting's history, so you might want to read some of that. The GM section does cover a number of dangerous things that firewall agents might encounter... You can find the GM section, called "Game Information", on p. 350 .
