New Player Here With New Group (Central Coast CA, USA)

Hello all! I'm posting this to introduce myself to the Eclipse Phase community, as I have only recently learned about this game, and I'm already HOOKED like you wouldn't believe! I have a gaming group of 5 people, and we have been learning the game and setting up brand new characters, as this is a fresh new game and setting for us. As we have been playing D&D 3.5 for well over a year, I had to get these guys into this SICK sci-fi RPG! If anyone in this area is interested in joining let me know! We are looking for more players. Also, any tips for new players? Thanks!

My group in Santa Cruz (myself and what is now 4 players) have been playing EP for over a year, meeting every Friday night. Like you, I became consumed by the game. I've put together some EP resources, including alternate character sheets, some settings/NPCs, and an account of the first portion of our campaign at Unpossible Labs that may be of interest.

If you already have five people in your group you may find it getting a bit unwieldy if you add more. EP scenarios tend to get very complex very quickly. That's just based on my experience as a GM; your mileage may vary.

We are located in Santa Maria, California, which is 2 1/2 hours north of Los Angeles, and about 15 mins from the ocean coast.
