I want to hear your opinions about my first EP character. I am very new in this system, and it is my first SF RPG system. But I love SF and I really want to play it. First session in weekend :). About char (short, details in progress :] ): He is a freelancer (if not working for Hypercorp), ego hunter and assassin, and his job is to find people and deliver them or eliminate them, or investigate some dangerous and dark, illegal cases, out of official procedures. Most of the time, he works for some Hypercorporation (at least for some of their cells) or people from underground. He has no memories from before working for Hypercorporation (not decide what corporation yet), but they gave him his morph and chance to find out who he was. He does wet jobs and dark buisnesses. He is cold professional with a talent for his work. Even if he had psi abilties before his new work (and he doubt that), he can't remember that. But he had skills and no choice. Now he is also doing his own investigation about who his employers are, and what they know about his past. Those sleights are my early choices. 4 sleights for each, chi and gamma, no more (CP....). I am thinking about sleights that can be usefull for the character, whose job is usually „find and bring, or find and kill”. So everything what gives me advantage in my hunting jobs are best choices. I think that sleights which gives bonuses to skills modificators are less usefull, because the longer you play, the less those skills have sense. So I will write all my choices, and I am planing to choose 4 of them for each kind of sleights. I wish to hear your opinions about best options for my character. Chi (4): Cogitive Boost, Emotion Control, Filter, High Pain Threshold, Instinct, Predictive Boost (not sure how this works), Unconcious Lead Gamma (4): Alienation (not sure how this works exaclty too), Cloud Memory, Deep Scan, Drive Emotion, Ego Sense, Omni Awarness, Psychic Stab, Subliminal. For now my choices are: Chi- Filter, High Pain Threshold, Unconcious Lead, Instinct Gamma- Deep Scan, Drive Emotion, Subliminal, Psychic Stab/ Alienation Gear: Implants: Enhanced Hearing, Eidetic Memory, Bioweave Armor (light), Endocrine Control, Neurachem (L1), Cyberclaws, Medichines Gear: Bbackup Insurance (mod), Facial/Image Recognition, Standard Muse, Body Armor (light) with Chameleon Coating (to work with my Cahmeleon Skin), Medium Rail Pistol (with Silencer), 100x Zero Armor Piercing Pistol Rounds And now I have still 90 CP points to use and 950 credits for gear. I thought about spend those 90 CP points for Climbing skill (since I have Grip Pods (30 CP) and it would help me in hunting) and for some one more social skill (Deception or Protocol (40 CP)). Last 20 CP points I wanted to spend for 1 more moxie and 1 specialization. And about these 950 credits....well, I thought about smart skin and poison glands, or about oracles (50 more credits for that, maybe less ammunition). Now I wish to hear your opinion about my character, if skills are good for him and his job, and if....well, it is my first character in EP, so I wish to hear your opinions. Thanks.
