After reading the corebook, some things popped into mind:
A) If a muse is a dedicated AI housed in one's mesh inserts, what happens to it when someone egocasts. If I understood correctly, only the ego is cast across space. Is the muse somehow transferred with the consciousness?
B) If the cortical stack stays behind during egocasting, does it mean there are two versions of the same ego (one in the cortical stack and another that was egocast) or is the cortical stack someone emptied or deleted?
C) What happens to all the data the basic mesh inserts might be carrying? For instance, the character receives some valuable schematics or files through the mesh. Are these somehow egocast too or they need to be sent via more conventional means?

The muse is digital, so it's
The muse is digital, so it's stored in back ups with you, so I assume it's also sent in ego-casts with you.
It's assumed the original is erased off the system when you transfer, because otherwise you're just Alpha Forking.

The way I see it, your ego
The way I see it, your ego and every bit of data that you have stored locally (including your Muse) is 'cast at once. This also includes any other pieces of software you have downloaded/written/whatever, including hacking programs.
