Multiple Task Actions with Multitasking
(Did a forum search but could not find relevant info) (Also looked up rulebook on Task Actions) With any one of the multi-tasking enhancements that give extra Mesh/Mental Actions, can one take multiple simultaneous InfoSec Task Actions to hack/bypass a system? I.e., when equipped with the Multi-Tasking cyberware, could one PC make three (one plus two from Multi-Tasking) Intrusion tests at the same time? (This assumes what necessary hardware is in place as well)

I say go for it. Less abusive than doing one Intrusion at triple speed. :)

RAW, it is very ambiguous. In almost every game I have played in so far we have ruled that as long as a single complex action is spent on a task action per phase/turn (It depends which GM I am playing with, I prefer /phase) then that person can be considered to be going all at it. They do however get hit with a modifier depending on how distracted they might be. Holding an engaging conversation with someone while hacking through their inserts gets you a -10 modifier, holding your own in an engaging gunfight gets you a -30. Makes Psi Hackers even more fun, running multiple Instinct driven, Filter protected hacking attempts means you can actually combat hack while still being useful.

Yes, this is one of the advantages of augmentations that give extra mental actions.

One Intrusion at triple speed would also raise the question if the character's input is the limiting factor in hacking - I imagine most of the time being taken up by software number crunching, response delays etc.
