Morph Recognition Cards Shipped!
I did not see anything about this but I received my set today! They're pretty cool! And I will definitely be using them to mess with my players when they want to know what random assortment of morphs are available to rent at particular habs. Thanks, guys!

Is it possible to buy them?
Is it possible to buy them? I missed Transhuman Kickstarter but I'd like to have a set of these :)

They'll be on sale in February, along with the Morph Recognition Hack Pack. Just giving it a few weeks for the Kickstarter backer's copies to arrive first!

Woooo! This is fantastic.
Woooo! This is fantastic. The group I was running really loved the setting, but getting the Morph Recognition Guide into their hands when they were getting set up on a new habitat was what really made things "click" for them regarding the diversity of the EP universe and the weirdness that was available to them. (As well as the costs involved...) Really looking forward to grabbing the cards... Nice work!

PDF version?
Will there be a PDF version of the cards available, or a hack pack of the images? As awesome as these are, they would work super well on tablets for referencing. As a follow-up question, if there is a PDF version will they be included in Kickstarter levels with the PDF bundle?

As I said in my post, the Hack Pack will come out soon, containing 100+ Morph images! As every single card has a unique front and back, I wasn't planning on releasing a PDF version of the cards: the cutting and collation would be super unfun.

Since it came up here, what exactly are the Hack Packs?
In other words, firing off a laser with a sufficient TWR for the recoil to be noticeable would require a post-miracle-tech laser weighing less than a disposable plastic spoon and powerful enough to shoot down Death Stars? -- ShadowDragon8685

Nice timing, I wrote a boilerplate description of them earlier this weekend while updating various DriveThruRPG pages... :) "What is a Hack Pack? A Hack Pack is a collection of Creative Commons-licensed (Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 Unported) material for the Eclipse Phase roleplaying game. Usually Hack Packs contain graphics and art from each book, but they also sometimes contain other working files. Use them in your game, in virtual tabletop software, when making fan material, as social media icons/backgrounds, or wherever else you like! When possible, specific artist credit is included in each graphic."

I'm a bit disappointed
I check Kickstarter regularly, and I never saw this come up. I can't even find it after the fact with a keyword search.

The Morph Recognition Cards were a stretch goal / add-on to the Transhuman Kickstarter.

Ah.
Understood now. Thanks! Am still sad, but my heart will heal.

Don't be sad: no product that we created as part of the Kickstarter is exclusive to it (pretty impossible to make "exclusive" projects when we license all Eclipse Phase material under a Creative Commons license!) The Morph Recognition Cards and Morph Recognition Hack Pack will go on sale on DriveThruRPG on Wednesday, February 4th.

I can happily say that my Morph Recognition Cards arrived about half a week ago in perfect condition. So perfect was the timing on the shipping that both my cards and a friends set of cards arrived on the same day here in Australia. I can report that we are both exceedingly happy with the quality (such fantastic card stock!) and the appearance! Can't wait to run a game with them, i'm thinking - shuffle and deal a card to each player. Congrats. Random morph backup oneshot!

Just in time for the Tuesday
Just in time for the Tuesday night session! They were a hit, as the team's infomorph was just starting to shop around for a cheap "emergency synthmorph".

I can't help but think that
I can't help but think that there's some kind of alternate card game that can be played with these. Some weird mash up of Pokemon and poker with morph type (biomorph, uplift, pod, and synth), environment (land, flying, aquatic, vacuum), and the card value each having a part in the gameplay. I just can't quite get the mechanics together in my head!

I posited the cards as the EP version of the Top Trumps card game to my group... "My morph has two ion engines" "... OK you win."
