Has anyone considered what happens when forks from two different Egos attempt to merge?
I can imagine multiple scenarios:
1) Two transhuman Egos wish to use this as a form of reproduction. No sense growing/building a Morph until we have a viable offspring Ego to house it (assuming the new "child" wants to be sleeved). This might require a little professional tweaking to make sure the new kid is mentally healthy.
2) How better to infiltrate a corp/enclave/group, or to impersonate an individual, than to "acquire" a Fork and Merge it with a Fork of your own or your agent's Ego? This also might require a little professional tweaking to ensure loyalty and smooth over any little irregularities.
3) You're a transhuman Media Personality. Now you have to worry about a stalker(s) who decides that XP feeds aren't enough... they want to acquire a Fork of you and merge it with their own Ego/fork.
I didn't see anything on this in the Core PDF or on the boards, so sorry if it was already covered.
Add a few more interesting ones that would be firewall jobs:
4. A cult is merging multiple separate transhuman egos in an attempt to create a "seed ego". An "organic" seed AI, so to speak.
5. A hypercorp security research project experiments with merging egos and very powerful AIs, a la "mini-TITANs".
6. One rogue AGI and one rogue ego plan to merge. What they don't realize is that the ego's lack of inhibitions will disable the blocks on the AGI's self-improvement. The road to hell, as it were.

Spoiler for non-GMs... Maybe that IS what the TITANs were trying to do before they disappeared?... End Spoiler
