Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to merge a different ego to oneself. A total diferent ego to upgrade aptitudes, or add memories.
Thanks in advance!

Given that the difficulty of merging a fork increases based on hours or days of divergent experiences in the *same ego*, I'm guessing that "merging" two separate egos is all but impossible. It'd be closer to psychosurgery/memory modification than "merging."

It's totally doable, but be ready to spend a LOT of time on it; the penalties are pretty bad, and then on a success you're going to be spending weeks of therapy to get back to something resembling sane.
Even with full 60x acceleration, you're going to be spending 10 objective hours on the full trip from two sane forks to one sane merged fork.
But yeah it's totally doable if you can find a surgeon willing to attempt it. And if they're willing to try it, I wouldn't recommend giving them the chance; that's not a surgeon you want to trust, if you have a choice.
