I suppose that might eliminate the boredom you'd experience waiting for habitat services to rescue you. That is assuming that they don't do the rude thing by telling the suit to cover your helmet (to block vision), turn off all sensors and connections to the outside world, and then give you a good shove in the wrong direction. Then you get to die both bored and annoyed.

Re: Making a biomorph space adapted
I've got some new questions. 1 ) Based upon the discussions regarding breath holding records, I'm left wondering if the augmentations, Enhanced Respiration and Respirocytes are compatible. The conversation suggests that extreme breath holders owe their ability to their high red blood cell count. I'm assuming that Enhanced Respiration somehow augments this quality, increasing red blood cell count and effectiveness. I'm under the impression that Respirocytes replace red blood cells as they give the character 4 hours of oxygen instead of 10 to 30 minutes that Enhance Respiration provides. Am I mistaken? 2 ) With the Respirocytes augmentation, can you slow you heart rate and stop breathing (using special training) and survive for 4 hours? 3 ) Would there be any benefit for a person to have the Temperature Tolerance augmentation if they already have the Vacuum Sealing augmentation? While the Vacuum Sealing augmentation protects a character from a greater range of tempertures, the Temperature Tolerance augmentation implies that a character can live comfortably its narrower temperature ranges. Does this give the Temperature Tolerance augmentation an advantage (however slim) that Vacuum Sealing does not have?

Cheaper. Doesn't require built-in armor.
As mind to body, so soul to spirit. As death to the mortal man, so failure to the immortal. Such is the price of all ambition.

Enhanced Respiration is broken up in Gate Crashers; GC, p.152. Basically it says the bio-mod is part of what allows a ruster to breathe on Mars but other conditions would require a different kind of modification. I suppose Enhanced Respiration is primarily a change to the material of the lungs themselves, which allows for more effective extraction of oxygen and other gases so the bonus from Respirocytes would supercede it. On the plus side, you'd have an easier time replenishing the oxygen after using it due to the Enhanced Respiration.

That's something I've been thinking as well. Respirocytes would likely replace the red blood cells, so they probably aren't compatible. Otherwise, your blood would be thick as hell with natural and nanobot-based blood cells.

Probably not, though endocrine control might give you that capacity.

I don't think so. That one is a tough call. I personally rule that temperature tolerance is an inferior upgrade for someone who wants to live in an atmospheric environment with temperature extremes, while vacuum sealing combines that with the ability to live in a non-atmospheric environment. That's why temperature tolerance is so much cheaper.
