Low Pain Threshold and wound-penalty negators
If you have the Low Pain Threshold trait, the Endocrine Control and Andrenal Boost implants, and Medichines, how does the progression of wound penalties go? Is it -0/-0/-0/-20/incapacitated (doubling the wound penalty after the implants), -0/-10/-30/-50/incapacitated (it doubles first, and then they negate as many penalties as they can), or -10/-20/-30/-50/incapacitated (doubling first, and then negating one -10 per wound)? I don't think it's the first because of the way the Low Pain Threshold trait is phrased, but I'm not sure which one it is for sure.

It's a simple progressive system: -0/-0/-0/-10/-20 with the normal progression being -10/-20/-30/-40/-50. You take a -10 penalty to all actions for every wound you have, while ignoring however many wounds your implants, sleights and traits allow you to. Remember that the absolute maximum amount of wound penalties that can be ignored is 3, no matter how many implants and such you might get (wound effects, page 207).

Re: Low Pain Threshold and wound-penalty negators
The fifth wound will always knock you out, since it'll take you past your Durability. Well, unless there is some effect capable of inflicting Wounds without giving you points of damage, I suppose. That's what the Lemon trait does, I think, but the question still basically stands. I'll also point out that I don't think it works quite the way you say it does, because the rules don't say they let you ignore the wounds; they let you ignore the -10 penalty from one wound, while the Low Pain Threshold trait says it gives you another -10 penalty for each wound. Hence why I'm asking.

Re: Low Pain Threshold and wound-penalty negators
(In systems I have played in previously) When you have something that allows you to ignore wound penalties the penalties pick up as normal after the progression exceeds the buffer. The wording on low pain threshold is kinda odd. Why not just double the wound penalty? That's what it appears to do. By saying another -10 for each wound you complicate the matter by making the extended penalty dependant on previous math.

Oh, I forgot that you listed low pain tolerance in your question. It would go something like this: -10/-20/-30/-50/-70. You would ignore a single -10 penalty from up to the first three wounds (basically making them into normal wounds that only cause a -10 penalty) and then be dealt -20 wounds from whatever point you no longer have the ability to ignore wounds. As for the fifth wound point, remember that you have to heal durability before you can heal wounds. It is very possible to heal durability without healing wounds (as they take longer to heal) and continue to get injured at a later time. Also, remember that special treatment is required to help someone with 4 or more wounds: most things, including medichines, stop helping you at that point... because you are REALLY messed up.
