Hello,
I am a computer science student. I love rpgs, video games and stories about interesting characters.
Some of my favorite shows and stories are: "Would I lie to you?", "Steven Universe", "Discworld", "QI".
Some of my favorite youtubers are: CarlSagan42, Ryukahr, Jim Sterling, Rhett & Link.
If you want to know more details you can ask freely.
Genre
I would like to propose a play-by-post rpg on basis of the second edition on an discord server where I will be GM. I will play a half-PC as well.
The genre will be espionage, character play, a bit of horror and some slice of life.
The horror will be more on the creeping psychologically site than splatter horror (though that can come up, too).
The characters should try to avoid detection and overly use of firepower. Or at least shouldn't be found out as the culprit.
You get your 2 Gear Packs at Character creation plus 20 GP from Firewall for the first mission with which you can buy multi-use blueprints with the added costs as described in the Gear chapter.
Afterwards since you stay mostly at the same location you will get sporadic some GPs in addition to your Resources and Rep-Favors. Or 20 GP if you have a rarer Farcast mission.
Homebrew rules: You can shift the skills in your Muse however you want as long as you follow the rules of no skill higher than 40 except for one at 60.
You can also take new skills if you take points away from your Muse's other skills. Since the aptitudes are not listed I think all at 10 is reasonable.
I would like to exclude very damaged/fucked up characters.
Location
I am in Germany but since I would recommend play-by-post that doesn't matter as much.
Time
I would like to play from 7pm GMT to 11pm GMT (or 9pm CET and 1am CET respectively).
Self-Advertising
I am punctual. My grammar is good and my spelling, too.
What I find most fascinating in the game world are the conflict and nature of the factions, the question about the self, the techno-progressive nature and the new living world of transhumanity.
