Interrogations cause stress?
In my last EP game, two of the players found themselves being interrogated by the police chief, Ord Brown from the LLA. While not invasive, (No psychosurgey, they didn't preface it with two weeks of starvation, ect.) they are given a twelve hour long, detail intensive, repetative interrogation where it is clear that Ord, a man powerful enough to do whatever he wants to them, is displeased with their testimony and thinks they are criminals. Do you think that risking stress damage is appropriate? Would you call for a willpower test to avoid stress damage? How much stress damage would you apply, if you thought it appropriate?

Re: Interrogations cause stress?
Sure. In EP, it seems like basically everything causes stress; it's amazing anyone survives the day. Per p215, it looks like the typical minimum is 1d10/2, although that category runs all the way from 'helplessness' to 'losing a loved one' (!). You may want to use something smaller. :)

It sounds the characters didn't have(or were ignored) their legal power to defend against interrogation(the right to remain silent, legal advice and like). So I think "Helplessness" would be appropriate.

It's the LLA. Hypercorp land. You have 'rights' until they need to be taken away due to some convenient emergency.
