Inquiry Letter
I want to run an EP game, but I moved to a new area. I think there are enough sci fi fans at the place I work to get one going, but the problem is I don't know who would be interested and a lot of people are in my department. I was thinking about overcoming this by typing up an inquiry letter of sorts to put in the break room or something. Describing the game, getting people interested in role playing. I just don't know how to go about wording it. If you were to do this, what would you be sure to include? How would you write this advert for an Eclipse Phase game?

I would just put up a very casual advertisement for a general role-playing group, leaving the genre and setting specifics for the small print. Pen & paper RPGs are niche enough to baffle and intimidate most people without bringing up transhumanist horror-conspiracy-sci-fi. Even if you end up attracting a bunch of complete noobs who just want to hack and slash at D&D 4e, go with it, and you'll get a sense of who's up for something more interesting.
