An Idiot's Guide to Cognitive Enhancement
Just to clarify. What is covered under "Cognitive Enhancement". Is this the "Psi" stuff... or something more. It sounds like the branches of biotech/nanotech/etc. that specifically relate to fundamantally altering and/or "improving" mental function, memory, skills, and such.

We're thinking of cognitive enhancement as part of the NBIC (Nano, Biotech, Information Tech, and Cognitive Science/Enhance). So in this respect it'd be things like the digitized consciousness of EP or the creation of virtual simulation spaces and the type of effect these might have on the transhuman mind. And more broadly how we think of and react to new and emerging technologies.
