Hypercorp book ideas?
Hi all Is there a hypercorp book in the works? I was wanting to get ideas for hypercorp adventures and thought id ask as it seems like a good idea for a ep book! Ideas: Hypercorp development, structures Popular hypercorp internal structures, Internal politics Corp espionage (sp?) Indentures servitude terms, etc I was wanting thus for a variety of corps including somatek, gatekeeper, love and anarchy collective, mars corps, vensuian corps and monrningstar, as well as xeno corps (ie xenoarchaeologists corps competing on sunrise, etc), security corps such as direct action on mars, and how the corp would differ on offworld missions? I think this would have a lot of appeal. . But who else A) has the same idea B) what ideas do you have Regards Jason brisbane (Yes im plugging for ideas for my games)
Regards, Jason Brisbane

I'd actually really like a hypercorp book, partly to see how businesses would exactly work in a post-singularity future, how many jobs are for AIs and which are still manned by humans, etc. I'd hope such a book would be written from the point of view of actual hypercorp characters, or at the very least Firewall agents with hypercorp connections, not jaded anarchists or sarcastic Titanian economists.

If it helps, they've given us the basics of this in the past. The Planetary Consortium uses indentured infomorphs for most mundane server security, with AI probably assisting or taking over for more important stuff, and dedicated infomorph security people are almost assuredly watching the most secure stuff, usually using enhanced servers and other security measures like air-gapped security to keep things really secure. As a sidenote, I think they're likely to use advanced AI in air-gapped servers, as they're not going to get bored being cut off from the mesh. The Hypercorp structure itself hasn't been thoroughly explained, but the things I've noticed: Solaris is notable for almost never having offices, which does imply that other hypercorps do still use physical spaces, so that's one thing. We know that it's suggested the vast majority of people working for a hypercorp are actually contractors. I suspect that people hired on as employees might be the ones who are consistently involved in long term projects, indentures the hypercorp has purchased, and people they REALLY need to keep on the inside of the structure.
