H-Rep: An EP Homebrew Blog
So, I was kind of inspired by projects like Seedware and Farcast to make a blog space where I could post my own homebrew ideas in a way that could be consistent and somewhat organized to look through, without worrying about stuff getting buried deep in the Forum or anything, and giving it a tag system to make an easy check of everything. I've been regularly using it for a while now, so I figured I might as well link it to more interested parties. I probably best said my whole kind of reasoning and style in the introductory post: http://ephrep.blogspot.com/2016/09/introduction.html so I'll leave that link here to peruse, but in general I didn't want to call it a "yearblog" necessarily because it isn't formatted like that, some days I post nothing, other days I post like two things and I don't want to lock myself in for running it for just one year because I have a lot of years of backlog of ideas to work out, and occasionally some brand new ones (Today's entry on Dual Grenades was a very recent inspire, for instance). Obviously specific comments can go on specific posts, but feel free also to give me general feedback here - the intro post up there contains all the usual disclaimer about how EP is CC and in what ways, etc. I will probably not clutter the forum/this thread with a post here every time I post something new, so check back on the site regularly. Or you can follow me on Twitter @UnitOmega (which apparently @EclipsePhase and @JackGraham do, so that's kind of neat) and I've made a point to start tweeting whenever I post something new.

Thanks for making such
Thanks for making such content available. I did a quick look already, and plan to look at it more later. A quick comment though. I think you should try to clean up the links a little bit. It doesn't seem that well organized right now. I've clicked links expecting new stuff only to find stuff I've already read in other links.

I got the idea of labelling
I got the idea of labelling from Seedware, so as there's more stuff if you're looking for certain types of material you can easily find that area without skimming through each month - obviously with not quite two dozen entries that spread doesn't go very far. But as time goes on I'll definitely look at cleaning up the tags and might play with how the different sidebars are displayed.

Connections
Just a quick thought while I skim this - the multi-grenades remind me both of something from Schlock Mercenary as well as this bad boy. I'm a little shocked that, in hindsight, nobody else came up with this idea, since it seems so obvious in hindsight. 'Course, that's the mark of a great idea. Good work!

The Picatinny thing was
The Picatinny thing was actually what gave me the original idea idea, I just extrapolated like a hundred years more R&D and the marvels of micro-scale assembly into it. I figured if we can build a grenade-sized object now which can have alternate modes, why in the future couldn't fabricators build something with the payload of two smaller grenades into one package?
