Homerule: Instant battery, they don't autorecharge but take 1 min to recharge at conventional power socket (the nuclear package is substitute with power conversion apparatus), very cheap expecially in outher system....

This tech would have about 1/12th the energy density of the room temperature superconducting batteries described in the books, though. So 1/12 the shots for the same mass battery.
