I am running Glory for a few friends in a one shot style game, to introduce the system, but I want to avoid character creation and jump right into the game. Which characters should I allo from EP Rulebook, Sunward or even Quickstart ?

I haven't played Glory but all the sample characters from the core book should be fine (some have been changed slightly in the errata). From Sunward avoid the Solarian Researcher (bad starting morph for a game set anywhere but the sun) and the Earth Survivor (stuck on earth, maybe OK if you say he got off somehow). You should probably avoid using the characters from the quickstart since I don't think that they are strict 1000 point characters.

There are also pregens in Gatecrashing, and in a supplement called NPC File 1. It's generally easy to spot when a character is inappropriate for your game ("But... You're a giant whale. Inside the sun."), and what you could do to adapt them ("Lose the Surya morph and the quantum entanglement communicator, and gain 56 CP to spend on morphs and starting equipment.")
If the purpose of your one-shot is to sell the game to your group, then you should try to give them some freedom to customize their characters, because that's a big selling point of the system. Even a few spare CP can give you some leeway to make a character more uniquely your own.

You could probably use the first four pre-generated characters from the quickstart rules (from [u]Mind the WMD[/u]). The pre-generated characters for the second half of the adventure are probably too specialized for [u]Glory[/u], but you never know.
