As noted in the forums, Bastlynn has set up an Eclipse Phase fan wiki over at http://www.firewall-darkcast.com/wiki/welcome-firewall-dcs-wiki. We're really excited to see a fan project like this get set up so quickly -- in fact, she set it up the day after GenCon, after we discussed it at a seminar there! We're eager to see how it develops, so we encourage everyone to check it out and contribute!

Clarification about EP Books at Gencon

Some of you have pointed out to us the copy of EP available on ebay.  The listing incorrectly calls it a Gencon exclusive.  I'd just like to reiterate that this is incorrect.  The EP core books that we sold at Gencon will be the same ones that will be in your FLGS sometime this Fall.  Additionally the text and pictures will be the same on the pdf that should be available any day now.  The only unique thing about the ebay one is that it's signed by 'authors' but we're pretty good about doing that for anyone who asks.

Gencon Update - Post-con and 4 and 5

Sorry for the lack of updates the last two days, the network we were leeching off of in the hotel room never went back up after Friday night so we were all in web withdrawal by the time the con ended yesterday. 

Let me just start by saying that it was great meeting all of you who were able to swing by the booth or play in one of our demos and Rob and Jack and I agree that nearly everyone we talked to about the game was an absolute pleasure to interact with. 

We did the EP seminar on Saturday with a good attendance and some excellent questions and I think we'll try to get some sort of summary up about that later one once we've recovered a bit more.

Congrats to those of you who were able to snag a copy of the book.  For those of you who were not or who were unable to attend the word we're getting from Catalyst is that the .pdf if coming "very soon" after Gencon. My understanding is that it's being held up somewhat due to CGL using it in conjunction with a special program they're launching.  But soon the waiting will be over.

EP Core Books at GenCon

You've been waiting in suspense to hear if we were going to have Eclipse Phase at GenCon ... and I can now say it's confirmed: we will be releasing the EP Core Rulebook at GenCon! We have a limited amount available, so we'll only be selling 25/day, probably with a limit of 2 per customer. So come by the Catalyst Game Labs booth (#803) nice and early in the morning, when the hall opens, to make sure and get one!

I'm pretty psyched to finally get the book in my hands myself!

Before you ask -- I don't have anything else confirmed about the PDF, pre-orders, street release date, or QSR yet. Thanks for your patience, everyone. As soon as I have the info, I'll post it here and share it with you!
