Recently the architect Lebbeus Woods died, and thanks to BLDGBLOG I came across one of his really cool projects: Einstein's tomb https://lebbeuswoods.wordpress.com/2009/09/27/the-vagrant-light-of-stars/ http://bldgblog.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/lebbeus-woods-1940-2012.html (scroll down) Check out those black-and white sketches of the vast and abstract monument, launched into interstellar space along a beam of light. Seems to be the perfect setting for the finale of some EP adventure... It reminds me a bit of the drawings by the Russian mathematician Anatoly Fomenko - dark, dominated by vast rectangular masses or cosmic transformations dwarfing the tiny, all too expendable humanoid shapes.

That is actually really awesome. Though I imagine finding that thing in deep space without knowing what it is would be tantamount to discovering the sunken city of R'lyeh, in terms of creepiness. D:
