Check out those black-and white sketches of the vast and abstract monument, launched into interstellar space along a beam of light. Seems to be the perfect setting for the finale of some EP adventure...
It reminds me a bit of the drawings by the Russian mathematician Anatoly Fomenko - dark, dominated by vast rectangular masses or cosmic transformations dwarfing the tiny, all too expendable humanoid shapes.
