Distribution flaw Windows 7

Pretty much soem unneeded meta data folders and files are included in the windows 7 distro. __MACOSX are meta data directories that are only found on macs and are not needed with windows and should not be included in the windows distribution. How to not distribute them in the mac environment i am not sure as far as i can tell they are the equal of windows hidden files
