Critical successes in combat
Hello, I have a question that emerged between me and my players during a session. If both attacker and defender can spend moxie: What happens if both attacker and defender make their success roll a critical success spending a moxie point? Who wins? If an attacker rolls 22 making a critical, a 23 rolled fray dodges the attack? I read somewhere that a critical is a better roll than any MoS. It is correct? Thanks in advance!

Higher critical wins. If you
Higher critical wins. If you rolled a 23, it goes to a 33, which beats a crit of 00, 11, and 22.

If you both roll critical you
If you both roll critical you have to start The Auction. Spend Moxie again to upgrade your critical to supercriticals, raise it again to megacriticals. Then it goes into sayancriticals, if you can handle that. Every Moxie counts. Players around the table can bet their Moxie on the outcome. It makes it more exciting to make these boring Kinesics/Deception opposed rolls. :P

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how in 10 AF, a stray light pistol bullet improbably punched through a weak piece of interior bulkhead and damaged something critical, setting off a chain reaction via a perfect storm of improbably-poor choices with regards to where to locate volatile components, that ultimately caused the entire stern of the Titanian Navy Orbital Guard Vessel Pleasant to evaporate, sending a shotgun-like spray of highly-explosive shrapnel on an interplanetary collision course with iZulu, and thus began the first intra-Alliance armed conflict.
Skype and AIM names: Exactly the same as my forum name. My EP Character Questionnaire Thread for my Questionnaire The Five Orange Pips

Worse still, oncevrestored from his stavk, the officer responsible claimed to be cleaning his pistol at the time.
