Coup de Grace
One of my players is considering playing an assassin styled character who is famous for using a knife to kill unsuspecting pray. I haven't found any rules for killing people who can't protect themselves. My instincts are to pretty much say that RP wise it's an instant kill if he were to sneak up on someone asleep or unconscious and do something like stab them in the neck. rules wise i suppose the adjusts could be something like character has superior position +20 and maybe throw on another modifier of something like +30 just cause it's generally an extremely easy task. In reality a knife into the neck would probably kill the person pretty easily but rules wise it's unlikely to do more than 2 wounds and simply knock someone out. (unless i'm misinterpreting rules i'm still learning / preping for my game) I was just wondering what others opinions are, if anyone run into something like this and how it went, and also if there is a rule lying around about coup de graces that I am simply overlooking Cheers!

Re: Coup de Grace
one of my characters does it with a "piano wire" and I ruled that if he attacks and hits him from the back, on a MoS 30+ (relatively easy with the bonuses) he kills the other instantly and in silence.

Re: Coup de Grace
That's a pretty good Idea. I'll probably do something similar thanks!
