I've just discovered EP recently, and I have a question: In the quickstart-rules, the charactersheet that comes with the core-rulebook, and the core-rulebook itself (all 2e) the "coordination"-Aptitude is never mentioned. It does exist in all other resources to the game. Can someone explain to me why that is?

COO was removed in 2E. I think it was because it was too similar to some other aptitudes. It didn't really stand out. I don't miss it.
Eclipse Phase 1st edition was out for many years, and 2E was a recent release, so most material out there would be 1E and thus have COO.

Thank you very much for your answer. I suspected something in that direction, but wanted confirmation. While we're talking, did something similar happen to the Language skill? I cant find it on the mentioned character sheet

Also, does anyone know which of the amin books (sun- and rimward, transhuman, etc) got already corrected for 2E?

Languages now cost 1 cp/rez
Languages now cost 1 cp/rez point each. You can get some freebies if you have high COG and INT during character creation (see p. 45).
Languages used to be full skills in 1E, but I don't think they were that useful as skills. There were too many skills in 1E, so the devs worked to trim them down. Languages got cut. I think languages are now better than they used to be.
None of the books have been updated to 2E. I don't know if they will get updated 2E (I doubt it). The devs seem to be working on new books right now.
I did go through the trouble to convert the morph recognition guide to 2E. I even went through the trouble to label what has changed. You can find it here:

Thank you very much for your help, and even more for doing the morph guide. I'm putting together my first char right now, and was actually worried I couldn't get a specific morph cause it wasn't in the core book. As said, many thanks!
