Consortium Oversight game?
On RPG.net there was an interesting post in a thread about Rimward:
Quote:
I would love a Planetary Consortium - focused book, complete with support for running an Oversight (or even Project Ozma) campaign. The one time I tried running Eclipse Phase it petered out because the players - and myself to be honest - just couldn't take Firewall or outer-system anarchism seriously, but I think I could definitely sell a "Public Security Section 9 by way of Delta Green" game.
With such a rich and engrossing world as Eclipse Phase, eventually Firewall campaigns are going to get stale. Gatecrashing is fun but it's not for people that want a game of intrigue and James Bond politics rather than exploration. I'm not sure if the folks behind EP ever have plans to do something like this, but until that time (if at all), how could someone make an Oversight game interesting and different from a Firewall campaign?

I don't see that it would be
I don't see that it would be all that different myself, aside from having, well ... oversight. Unlike proxies in Firewall, which tend to trust their sentinels to use their best judgement in any given situation, Oversight is more likely to keep its agents on a short leash, holding them far more accountable for their actions and expecting constant sitrep updates. That said, if you need to liquidate an entire habitat for security reasons, it's probably a lot easier to do when you've got clearance from your higher-ranking superiors that they'll clean up the resulting mess afterwards.

Alternate idea
I get the impression that you really want to shake up your campaign. Have you considered jumping it a year or three into the future? The setting is so unstable that almost any changes you wanted to make to the setting could be reasonably explained with the passage of a bit of time. Don't like that the PC are such bastards? An incredibly incriminating XP went public a year ago and since then then the PC gone through a top to bottom shake-up. Now the PC is such a changed beast that Firewall and Oversight frequently work side by side. Find the whole infomorph slavery thing a downer? Sixteen months ago the Argonauts put out open source a synthomorph that offered a life experience comparable a good biomorph, and now the vast majority of infomorphs have converted over. Not crazy about the Jovian Republic? Well that isn't problem because an exsurgent virus outbreak took out pretty much the whole thing. Of course this last one creates its own set of problems. Really, the possibilities are limitless and almost any campaign you can think of can be fit into the possibilities of the setting.
