I've got to say one thing I've noticed since starting these userbars is there are a lot of factions in EP. There is a lot of things that people can identify with. I'm not saying this is wrong but my todo list is starting to get as high as a mountain. I will continue to plow through though as I see people like my work and I like to see my work being used.

I agree. I've actually been planning this already. I was also going to make a Battletech userbar, Shadowrun userbar, and Pathfinder userbar (the other RPGs that I play). I will post the Eclipse Phase one here, but the rest you will have to find on my website.

From what I can tell, the forums appear to be implemented with the standard Drupal forum extension, and the website itself is a Drupal instance. I do not think that Drupal supports the use of SQLite as its core database but there are a few extensions out there (of which the forums are not one) that use it to store configuration information. That looks to me more like an HTML markup glitch. The same thing happened to me when I was setting up my forum signature.

C-Rep +1 for the Eclipse Phase bar. And I think Carl would make an excellent guy for the Clanking Masses. And the reason I think that they should get a userbar is that it's a separate identity from just using a synthmorph. It's a combination of enforced economic difference, and a new form of racism in a transhuman setting that leads to a distinct subcultural identity. The Steel Morphs from Sunward are a good example of this, being formerly Case and Synth morph using egos who have achieved the financial means to be able to afford a Splicer or other biomorphs, but choose to take a synthmorph as a sign of cultural identification. Personally, I think that's an angle I would like to work when / if I get to run an EP game. The rise of a distinct synthmorph pan-identity on the inner worlds as a reaction to the culture of discrimination against them by the more fortunate biomorph users would be an interesting recurring subplot.

Despite my wide-ranging set of images identified above, I'd go as much as possible with anything that posters might identify with: factions, morphs, philosophies and attitudes. In particular, I'd go with anything that suggests a particularly strong personal choice or that has strong emotional resonance. So I'd suggest hyper-evolution, singularity, anarcho-capitalism, hypercapitalism or morphological freedom before some of the less extreme personal motivations and morphs like Fury, Remade, Menton or Futura (or even Reaper, Swarmanoid or Infomorphs (which you already have, as Infolife)) as opposed to "just" Flat or Splice. You seem to have most of the really ideologically strong factions represented, so if you do anything there I'd stick with prominent players (Guangxi) or really interesting concepts (Pax Familiae, the Synergists). Oh, and while I'm not all that interested in grim stuff, you haven't got an Exsurgent userbar yet. (Shrug.)

Seriously, though, the TITAN Quarantine Zone on Mars might be a useful userbar, more as a statement of place or condition (or humor) than anything else. The mysterious killsats around Earth, representing some kind of absolute "firewall" against overt TITAN incursions, might also be workable as a tag, as could Arenamontanus' Trait (drawn from Inception) "militarized subconscious." Something for Asyncs could be useful, for that matter.

Actually, developing this, a bar on the general location could be a good idea, and one "quick" to do as there are plenty of images of the Solar System's planets. I'd say one for each planet, one for the Sun nearzone and one for Extropia would be more than enough. :)

I'm staying away from creating location userbars due to the enormous work (as there are hundreds of locations) (though I will post them if people send me any). I will add Asyncs and The Mesh (AR, XP, ...). My idea for the Infected is to have a pile of dust on the ground, a person walks over the dust, it engulfs them and transforms them into a TITAN monster. A Killsat then nukes the person into a pile of dust (rinse and repeat).

While the exsurgent userbar won't be an existing or future userbar, I am taking this idea. The userbar will look closest to the Flat userbar (human icon sign) with the caption "Normal" beside it. The userbar will then be engulfed in exsurgent tentacles and the caption will be morphed into "Infected". A flash of light (Killsat) will reveal the "Normal" userbar again.

The Exsurgent userbar is done. I think I've got a handle on animated userbars, but they are a lot of work. I think I will save them for special userbars only. I'm defiantly going to touch up the EP userbar soon to be more like the Exsurgent userbar.
