Three new biomorphs: Aces, Rangers, and Operators
Ace The Ace morph was originally developed by the Morningstar Constellation to outfit pilots in the Venusian Aerospace GP, a championship jet race held in the Venusian atmosphere. The success of this morph in competitive racing has expanded its use throughout the piloting world, whether for ground, air, or spacecraft. The Ace morph includes implants for navigation and increased reaction speed and is often behaviorally modified for confidence and control. Implants: Basic Biomods, Basic Mesh Inserts, Cortical Stack, Access Jacks, Anti-Glare, Direction Sense, Enhanced Vision, Reflex Boosters Aptitude Maximum: 30 Durability: 35 Wound Threshold: 7 Advantages: +10 REF, +5 COG CP Cost: 50 Credit Cost: Expensive Ranger Ranger morphs are designed for long-term reconnaissance missions, often in difficult environments or behind enemy lines. Their adaptability has led to their widespread use, from the conflicts between the hypercorps and anarchists to reclaimer runs on the ruined Earth. There are many customized versions of the basic Ranger morph, some built for combat applications, while others are built for better long-term survivability in dangerous environments. Most Ranger morphs feature behavioral modifications for self-sufficiency and tend to be loners. Implants: Basic Biomods, Basic Mesh Inserts, Cortical Stack, Chameleon Skin, Circadian Regulation, Direction Sense, Echolocation, Eidetic Memory, Enhanced Smell, Enhanced Vision, Grip Pads, Mnemonic Augmentation, Temperature Tolerance, T-Ray Emitter Aptitude Maximum: 30 Durability: 45 Wound Threshold: 9 Advantages: +10 INT, +5 COO, +5 SOM, +5 WIL, +5 to one aptitude of the player’s choice CP Cost: 60 Credit Cost: Expensive (minimum 40,000)

I love the Ranger Morph! it's perfect for an Envoy kind of character, like a certain Takeshi K. were you inspired by the Maori sleeve Takeshi used in Broken Angels?

I was definitely inspired by those books; I just finished reading the trilogy a few weeks ago. I can't pinpoint a particular sleeve in the books that inspired these, but the ideas came out of reading those books.

I think the Ace could use Vacuum Sealing and the like, so it could survive in the venusian atmosphere and the racers don't need the bulk of a life support system.

I was a bit torn about that when I was designing the Ace, actually. I figured I'd leave it off in case someone wanted to use the morph in a form of piloting that didn't require vacuum sealing, and it could be an optional implant for those who need it. But it's not a bad idea, at all, I agree.

I used your reverse-engineered system as a guideline when I designed them. And I also compared them to the other morphs to make sure they fit in a balanced way.

Re: Two new biomorphs: Aces and Rangers
Another new one (plus a variant)! Operator Driven by Fourth- and Fifth-Generation warfare in the decade before Earth’s Fall, paramilitary intelligence agencies utilized a customized biomorph that could operate unnoticed in tense geopolitical regions. The Operator morph, as it was known, was engineered to blend into a population, observe it as an insider, and manipulate it if necessary. Precise adaptations made to the neurological and hormonal systems of the morph made Operators more resilient to the stress of their work, as well as more resistant to interrogation, torture, and psychosurgery if discovered. While typically used as intelligence operatives, some Operator morphs were used as bodyguards, investigators, or even journalists. Implants: Basic Biomods, Basic Mesh Inserts, Cortical Stack, Eidetic Memory, Endocrine Control, Enhanced Pheromones, Enhanced Vision, Oracles Aptitude Maximum: 30 Durability: 40 Wound Threshold: 8 Advantages: +10 WIL, +5 COO, +5 SAV, +5 SOM, Innocuous Trait CP Cost: 60 Credit Cost: Expensive (minimum 40,000) Operator (Krypteia Variant) This variant of the Operator morph was developed by Gorgon Defense Systems as part of the Krypteia Initiative, an effort to develop a specialized Psi-active security cadre. In the half-decade since their creation, some have found their way into the hands of private individuals, but most are still used by Gorgon Defense Systems as a sort of psychic spec-ops branch. The advantages of the Operator morph they are based on still apply, but the Krypteia variant de-emphasizes an innocuous appearance and instead includes drastic neurological restructuring that enhances Psi abilities. Advantages: Replace Innocuous Trait with a +10 skill bonus to a single Psi skill (Control, Psi Assault or Sense) Credit Cost: Expensive (Exceptionally Rare; 50,000+)
