It's a great story you've gave us! I assume Sunward will extend themes into politics, not only the Firewall-ish existential threats?
And there's one mistake:

Does she drink alcohol into her lungs?

Considering some of the weirdness in Eclipse Phase, I wouldn't rule it out.
Although my main interest isn't with the inner system, I'll agree that it's a great story.

Aleksander -- it's common English that if you drink something that burns, you can feel it "in your chest" as it makes its way down your esophagus and into your stomach.
