When will Amazon get more copies?
I ordered a copy of the core book from Amazon. But Amazon doesn't have any copies left. I was wondering if I will be getting a copy soon? Is there somewhere else I can order from and get the same good price?

Which Amazon is doing the pre-ordering? Amazon US doesn't have it listed yet for pre-order. I want to pre-order asap. I'm really digging what I'm reading from the pdf. But I read better from the corpses of dead trees.

There are some people that had the second printing pre-ordered -- or more accurately, a back-order -- but it doesn't look like you can do so now. We'll post a link to the correct option when Amazon has it back in stock!

Excellent! Thanks Adam, I will likely buy another back-copy of the first ed book (just for myself). But I am dead keen to buy the second-run with all the errata when it comes out. Thank you for keeping us posted!

An awesome day: yesterday, Amazon got EP back in stock, today, as of now they are down to 2 copies left and we climbed as high as #4 on the Gaming chart and #2,395 in all books! They have already ordered more copies. Thank you guys, so much.

Question: Do you intend to do an errata Sand-thingy version any time soon? And do you know if Amazon.co.uk will be getting any stock any time soon? I want a hardcopy, however I would much prefer an errata'd version.

We aren't in a position yet to talk about the next reprint. It will be scheduled when we are close to selling out the current batch of books. It takes longer to get books to amazon.co.uk -- aside from having to hop the pond, they go through another distributor in the UK before hitting Amazon. I'm trying to find out a more exact date when they might arrive, but the best answer is "keep looking for them each day" :)

So is the book currently in stock on Amazon the original first printing or the 2nd printing? You said we won't talk about the "next" reprint, so now I'm confused. I'll buy one right now if this is the 2nd printing (first reprint)? Thanks, Dave

I just got my copy from Amazon on Saturday. Had to order a replacement because it had VERY heavy shelf wear, couldn't be considered a 'new' copy.

Amazon shipping practices, in general, tend to dent the spine in. Does the Amazon version have the latest errata, or is it the reprint of the first print?

Sorry mine is already dropped off at UPS to go back to Amazon. The wear was mostly along the edges of the spine and the bottom edge of the front cover. It looked like it had gotten rubbed enough that the thin film coating was starting to slightly peel away along the bottom edge, along the top front cover and spine there were white blotches in the black from rubbing against other books. I have ordered hundreds of items from Amazon and only ever had to return one for improper packaging leading to damage. This particular book came in an order with 12 other hardback rpg books. Out of the whole order the only other book I had to send back was Seattle 2072 which had 3 corners split open. Honestly even though the new copy is mint in appearance I almost kept the roughed up copy because the binding in it feels much better, even though the first section feels like it is about to fall out of both of them, darned if you do darned if you don't.

I will try and get pics posted this weekend or sooner. Do you just want them to chew out your publisher? Also, the first chapter sits nicely in the book when it is closed, but is askew when the book is opened.

Every print run contains books that slightly differ in quality since printing-and-binding are physical processes. I'm just curious as to whether the damage/wear fits into what I would consider reasonable.

Just wanted to let you guys know I just got mine from Amazon on Tuesday and there was no wear at all. A couple small dents in the cover but after reading the problems Dredj and others were having I was nervous about how it would show up. It came in much better condition than I was worrying about. I would definitely say it is new and a perfect addition to my gaming bookshelf. Thanks for the great product Adam et all. ~Dave
